CFI Timeline, Tracking, and Submission Process  


Though you may begin working on your CFI during your Scientific Trunk (M1) and Clinical Trunk (M2) years (and we encourage exploring your interests during the M1 Summer Impact Accelerator Program) we will only officially track your CFI once you enter the Branches phase (M3/M4) of the curriculum.

As such, the timeline below pertains to the months within the Branches phase of the curriculum.


September 
Attend required CFI Orientation during Branch Launch 

January
Students auto-enrolled in the term-long (January-May) Longitudinal Capstone for Impact (CFI) Course 

 
May
First progress-check with CFI Advisor
CFI Proposal due.

August
Second progress-check with CFI Advisor

January (of graduating year)
Students auto-enrolled in the term-long (January-May) Longitudinal Capstone for Impact (CFI) course. Final CFI Project submission instructions will be detailed in the course Canvas site. All projects are due by January of the graduation year.
